Hands Paws and Hearts carefully screens potential adopters so that we can find the best homes for each of our dogs. We pride ourselves on being excellent matchmakers, facilitating connections that will provide a lifetime of happiness for our dogs and their families.

Our applications are not considered first come, first served. The suggested donation for each dog is based on sociability, training, health and temperament. This donation helps us cover spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, general health care, training and pull fees from our local shelters.

Completed adoption applications take approximately 24 hours to process. Once approved you will be contacted by the foster parent of the dog you are interested in to schedule a meet and greet. The minimum suggested adoption donation is $150-$250 for adults and $200+  for puppies. Puppies will be considered a foster until proof of spay/neuter is received.

Hands, Paws and Hearts is 100% run by volunteers and we do not have a shelter location. All of our dogs live in foster homes, learning to be loved pets, while awaiting their forever homes. Please mark your answers clearly by using a bold font. We will not consider applications that are not completed in their entirety.
